Metalux Launches Surround Selectable Drop Lens LED

Metalux Surround

Metalux, a Cooper Lighting Solutions brand, has unveiled the Surround Selectable Architectural Drop Lens LED solution. The Surround is a modern illuminated fixture that elevates the look of any commercial space.

The Surround comes standard with four selectable CCT’s in 80+CRI and is offered with three selectable lumen packages in low, medium, and high. The innovative 1.5″ wide ribbed lens design delivers a smooth fully luminous aesthetic matching light distribution from standard troffers and panels.

Offering a modern contemporary design at a great value, the Surround saves contractors installation time and costs. The Surround provides versatile mounting options for mounting in existing T-grid or surface/suspension with additional kit.

In the video below, an electrical contractor was hired to unbox and install 4 Surround and 4 Competitor A fixtures at the same time and location. He unboxed and installed both manufacturers’ products without any preview or preparation of any kind before making the video.

  • Standard 0-10V continuous dimming to 5%
