Lodes and Diesel Unveil D-Burned Suspension Lamp

Diesel Living with Lodes

Diesel Living, with Lodes, has expanded its catalogue with a bold new creation that merges design, innovation, and material identity. Designed under the creative direction of Glenn Martens in collaboration with Controvento, the defining feature of the D-Burned suspension lamp is denim, an iconic Diesel material since 1978.

With D-Burned, Diesel Living introduces devoré denim to the world of lighting, applying a signature technique frequently used by Glenn Martens in Diesel’s runway collections. Available in two standard sizes (60 cm and 120 cm), the lamp features draped devoré denim, designed to filter light with an interplay of transparency, shadow and raw materials. The result is a tactile, sensory lighting experience that engages not only sight but also feeling.

D-Burned suspension lamp

D-Burned suspension lamps boast a sophisticated design that highlights Diesel’s denim craftsmanship. The fabric is suspended and illuminated by a 360° light tube, with its pattern filtering the light to create a distinctive ambience. This design celebrates the materiality of denim and Diesel’s expertise, blending both decorative and functional elements.

Crafted to transform its surroundings, it offers soft, diffused lighting. Thanks to its fabric-driven aesthetic, D-Burned becomes a striking focal point in any space.

With its fashion-inspired design, D-Burned seamlessly fits into residential interiors and hospitality spaces alike. Whether as a standalone piece above a table or as part of a modular installation, it adapts effortlessly to restaurants and contract spaces.
