Vantage Creates Keypad Alliance for Greater Freedom and Unity in Lighting Design and Control

November 21, 2023

Growing Vantage Keypad Alliance Provides Lighting Designers and Integrators With Greater Interface Flexibility, Includes Luxury Partner Keypad Vendors Meljac, Forbes & Lomax, and Basalte

Legrand’s lighting control brand Vantage announced its new Keypad Alliance. In addition to Vantage’s wide portfolio of keypads, specifiers and installers using a Vantage system can select the keypad options available within the growing alliance to best fit the project. Vantage has formed strategic alliances with luxury partner keypad manufacturers Meljac, Forbes & Lomax, and Basalte.

“Vantage’s intention has always been to ensure the greatest freedom of design, which we introduced with our Fixture Alliance,” said Richard Laliberty, Product Marketing Manager, Shading and Residential Controls, Legrand North America. “The Vantage Keypad Alliance strengthens our commitment toward that mission. We are thrilled to launch this alliance with three design-focused keypad brands and support its growth with other trusted vendors in the industry in order to help specifiers and integrators achieve complete unity between design and integration.”

Programming the keypads is simple using the latest version of Vantage’s Design Center software. The intuitive nature of Design Center allows Vantage dealers to provide a complete solution for any home’s needs. With Design Center, partner keypads can utilize the same lighting control programming as Vantage keypads to meet the needs of any project.

The convenience of Vantage lighting control enhances the experience of any living space, while the balance of natural and electrical light is essential to maximizing architectural aesthetics. Vantage systems deliver a simple, streamlined approach to controlling complex, modern residential spaces. Vantage systems include the Vantage LHUMAN human centric lighting solution, which provides precise lighting control with motorized window shading and lighting fixtures to create an interior lighting environment centered on life and well-being.

Homeowners can let LHUMAN do the work for them — automatically adjusting their home’s light throughout the day, fully synchronized to the natural daylight from the sun — while easily making changes on the fly with preset scenes that deliver the appropriate color temperature and intensity to meet their current activity, need, or mood. All it takes is the touch of a button on the lighting control keypad from Vantage or from the Vantage Keypad Alliance member.

LHuman Lighting Control

To fully harness the power of natural lighting, LHUMAN integrates motorized window shades with Vantage lighting control, allowing users to effortlessly open their homes to bright, sunny days. Shades can be programmed to automatically raise and lower at any time of the day, incorporated with lighting in preset scenes or manually controlled using Vantage touch screens or keypads.

Further streamlining LHUMAN lighting control integrations is the Vantage Fixture Alliance. Introduced in 2021, the Vantage Fixture Alliance enables partnerships with leading light fixture manufacturers to provide AV installers, interior designers, architects, and other home design professionals with the widest selection of color-tunable fixtures to fit any project need.
