Viscor Lighting Releases MD3-Alto Patient Ambient, Exam, Reading Luminaire

Viscor Lighting MD3-Alto

Viscor Lighting, a Leviton brand, has launched the MD3-Alto multifunction patient room luminaire. Offering high-performance functionality and sleek architectural design, the modern luminaire features a fully diffuse lens, easy to clean surfaces, illumination that creates visual depth, and a germ-shield sealed lens perfect for use in healthcare settings.

The unique fully diffuse regressed lens not only adds a level of visual interest, it also provides gentle and comfortable ambient illumination. The MD3-Alto multifunction patient room luminaire also provides separately controlled, high performance exam illumination.

The color temperature and color rendering options are separately selectable. An optional low voltage controller is available with dimming or non-dimming functions. The reading source uses two obscured reflectors to provide shadow free localized lighting. Also available with a separate Chart/Night observation light option.

The frosted, one-piece smooth lens is sealed and easily wiped.
