Sterling Lighting LLC  & Island Villa Lighting Form Exclusive Partnership

Danville, Va.-based Landscape lighting manufacturer Sterling Lighting LLC has announced that Island Villa Lighting Ltd., led by renowned lighting designer James Solecki, has been appointed as the exclusive international reseller (EIRSL) of Sterling Lighting in the British Overseas Territory of Turks and Caicos. This marks a significant milestone in bringing high-quality lighting solutions to the Caribbean Island.

With decades of experience in the lighting industry, Solecki has established himself as a leading authority in outdoor lighting design and installation and focuses on environmentally-friendly lighting solutions. His company, Island Villa Lighting, has been providing innovative lighting solutions to customers and contractors across the Turks and Caicos Islands.

“We are excited to partner with Sterling Lighting to offer their exceptional products to our customers in the Turks and Caicos,” said Solecki. “Sterling Lighting’s commitment to quality and innovation serving designers and installers aligns perfectly with our mission to provide our customers with the best-in-class lighting solutions.”

Sterling Lighting is known for its professional-grade, serviceable, LED landscape lighting products that combine best-in-class LEDs with superior performance. As the exclusive international reseller of Sterling Lighting in the Turks and Caicos, Island Villa Lighting will offer a wide range of Sterling Lighting products to the territory and be able to deliver fast customer service.

“We are excited to welcome Island Villa Lighting as our first international reseller,” said Damien Sanchez, co-founder of Sterling Lighting. “James Solecki’s expertise and dedication to excellence make Island Villa Lighting the ideal partner to represent Sterling Lighting in the Turks and Caicos.”

An Exclusive International Reseller (EIRSL) is a designated partner in a list of countries chosen by Sterling Lighting where the company opts not to establish a physical presence. EIRSLs take on various responsibilities within the designated nation, including importing, paying duties, collecting sales tax, warehousing products, handling returns, honoring warranties, and providing customer service. While Sterling Lighting may choose to operate directly in certain countries like the United States, Canada, and Mexico, for others – such as the British Overseas Territory of Turks and Caicos – the company seeks out local partners. Should a customer inquire about becoming an EIRSL, they need to provide the country that they are interested in operating in so Sterling Lighting can evaluate the fit. For Canada and the U.S., Sterling Lighting is currently the exclusive seller of Sterling Lighting products.

Contractors in the Turks and Caicos can now access Sterling Lighting’s premium products through Island Villa Lighting for projects of all sizes, from residential properties to commercial developments.

Sterling Lighting offers fully-dedicated and integrated fixtures in high-grade materials, including marine-grade, virgin brass and 316 stainless steel. In 2021, co-owners Patrick Harders and Damien Sanchez – both of whom worked as landscape lighting professionals before founding Sterling –strategically moved Sterling’s headquarters and main operations from Northern Virgina to Danville, Va., to facilitate the company’s continued growth in operations and manufacturing.
