Focal Point Score 2 Offers Minimalist Linear Lighting for Design-Driven Spaces

Focal Point Lighting Score 2 linear lighting

Focal Point built its Score 2 lens‑free linear system around a narrow 2.5‑inch aperture and a regressed reflector that delivers controlled illumination within a clean architectural profile. The suspended and surface‑mount configurations share a minimalist housing that supports projects where linear lines of light must remain visually unobtrusive while still providing strong, comfortable output. The open‑aperture design keeps ceilings quiet and reduces visual clutter across both small and large interior environments.

The reflector is formed as a single piece, creating a stable optical surface that protects the LEDs and directs light evenly. This reduces glare and eye strain, supporting active interior spaces such as commercial offices, higher education facilities, hospitality environments, healthcare settings, transportation hubs and convention centers. Direct Lambertian distribution and indirect Batwing distribution allow Score 2 to serve both ambient and task illumination across varied ceiling heights and room geometries.

Score 2 offers multiple end‑cap options to align with different architectural conditions, while its finish options – matte white, black and titanium silver – maintain uniformity across long runs and open‑ceiling applications. Straight lengths from 2 to 8 feet, specified in 1‑foot increments, support precise placement and coordinated layouts. Optional Power‑Up technology delivers low‑voltage power through aircraft cables, reducing ceiling penetrations and simplifying coordination with other trades.

Control flexibility is built into the system. Single‑ or dual‑circuit configurations allow independent control of direct and indirect sources. The fixture supports 0-10V dimming protocols and offers lumen packages suitable for both low‑ambient and high‑output applications. Material transparency documentation is available for projects pursuing green building certification.
