Selux Expands Olivio Family with Gen5 Optics, RGBW Capability

selux olivio

Selux is expanding what its Olivio family can do with the introduction of two updates that give contractors more control, more flexibility, and more ways to solve exterior lighting challenges. The latest enhancements bring the Gen5 silicone optics to Olivio Grande and add an RGBW light engine to Olivio Medio, changes that strengthen the family’s technical range without losing the sculptural design language that makes Olivio recognizable in the field.

Gen5 is a proprietary silicone lens system engineered to deliver precise distributions with noticeably improved visual comfort. Selux integrates these lenses directly into the luminaire, expanding distribution options and increasing lumen output while maintaining a clean, cohesive appearance. The optic minimizes brightness at critical viewing angles, helping guide pedestrians and drivers with more uniform, controlled illumination. In addition, the Micro House Side Shield clips directly onto each lens, blocking light at the source without the bulk or complexity of external shielding.

The RGBW light engine, previously available in Olivio Grande but now expanded to Olivio Medio, gives designers and contractors more flexibility for architectural, civic, and campus environments where color, identity, and programmable scenes matter.
