Shine Bright: Call for Speakers Now Open for LEDucation 2025

LEDucation announces a call for speakers for the 2025 Conference to be held March 18-19 at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City. Virtual sessions will be offered the prior week, Thursday, March 13th and Friday, March 14th.

LEDucation seeks dynamic and engaging speakers who will bring their expertise and unique perspectives particularly on cutting-edge content and topics that solve today’s biggest challenges facing the lighting industry. Proposals are welcome from speakers representing a diverse range of backgrounds reflecting the broad array of industry insights.

“The 2024 Conference expanded our offering of sessions, both virtually and in person. We will continue this successful model in 2025 and are excited to see what thought leaders of the lighting industry submit for speaker topics!” state Shaun Fillion and Wendy Kaplan, LEDucation Presentations Committee co-chairs.

Speaker submissions require a detailed abstract and learning objectives for proposed sessions. The learning objectives must be clear and measurable. Sessions will be AIA CES–approved. We are seeking presentations on the following topics:

· Sustainability and material transparency

· Codes and compliance issues

· Lighting for health and wellbeing

· Lighting design tools, communication, metrics, and methodologies

· The business of lighting in different market sectors

· Emerging LED, OLED, and controls technologies

· Case studies of lighting design applications.

· Lighting design and specification topics. Submit your presentation proposal by September 6, 2024 HERE Proposals will not be accepted from marketing companies, third-party entities, life coaches, or business coaches.
