New OSQ-C Universal Mounts from Cree Lighting Makes LED-to-LED Conversions Easy

Cree Lighting (LEDucation 2025 booth 6004/6006) has the launched two new universal mounting accessories for use with the OSQ® Series – Version C direct mount luminaires, featuring its patented NanoComfort® Technology and efficacies up to 171 Lumens Per Watt.

The first new mounting accessory, the OSQ-MLX-C-HU, includes a 4-bolt drill pattern that matches the drill pattern used on our EDGE HO with EHO-UNV mounting accessory. The EDGE HO was the industry’s first High Output LED luminaire, launched in 2012.

“With much of this installed base now more than ten years old, creating this new mounting accessory, and pairing it with our OSQ-C, creates significant value and ease of execution to enable these types of LED-to-LED conversations to take place,” stated Sean Harris, Senior Product Portfolio Manager at Cree Lighting.

The second new mounting accessory, the OSQ-MLX-C-OU, is also designed for use with the OSQ Series – Version C luminaires and includes a slot to accommodate a wide range of mounting hole locations on existing poles.

“Our OSQ-MLX-C-OU has a much broader appeal. Not only is it compatible with many of our earlier generation LED direct mount luminaires, but it also has the potential to allow for easier conversions of existing LED, and even incumbent technology products, of other manufacturers. This allows our industry leading OSQ-C product to be used more broadly on poles currently in place, with little-to-no modification to existing drilling locations,” said Sean Harris.
