Lodes’ Random Stick Suspension Light Hits the North American Market

Lodes Random Stick

Meet Random Stick from Lodes (LEDucation 2025 booths 5013/5015) , where elegance takes the form of illuminating “bubbles” perched over a sleek hexagonal bar seemingly floating in the air. A suspension lamp designed by Chia-Ying Lee for the Italian luxury lighting brand, Random Stick is an extension of Lodes’ iconic Random collection by the same designer—with a playful twist. Gorgeous, blown-glass spheres captivate—while their resemblance to soap bubbles frozen in midair creates a sense of mystery.

The design itself displays enhanced functionality through strategically placed LEDs on the bar’s underside, which thoughtfully complement the beautiful, diffused glow emitted by the spheres while simultaneously providing downward illumination for surfaces below. It’s not just lighting—it’s a moment of weightless wonder, perfectly balanced between art and design.

Random Stick, which is suitable for both hospitality and residential spaces, is available in two styles: a 100cm cluster with four spheres and two LEDs in the lower part of the bar (1500 lumens), and a 150cm cluster with six spheres and three LEDs (2250 lumens). The spheres come in seven eye-catching finishes that are easy to pair with Random Stick’s metal statement bars (Polished Gold, Black Chrome, and Matte White). Finishes include Clear, Gold, Glossy Smoke, Glossy Bronze, Rose Gold, Chrome, and Frosted White.
