Enlighted Launches Smart Lighting System for SMBs

Enlighted Eazy control system

Enlighted, a Siemens company, has unveiled the Enlighted Eazy smart lighting control solution for the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market. The smart lighting control solution offers fast, intuitive app-based deployment at an affordable price point. Enlighted Eazy is the only lighting control solution on the market to offer laser-based commissioning to accelerate time to deployment, up to 30% faster than traditional Bluetooth commissioning.

“Enlighted is a pioneer in smart lighting control technology, known for offering high quality, robust lighting systems to larger businesses. For the first time, SMBs now have access to the high performance offered by Enlighted’s leading lighting technology, but with an offering and scale designed specifically to meet their needs,” said Franco Castaldini, Head of Product at Enlighted. “With Enlighted Eazy, purpose-built for the SMB market, more businesses than ever can now benefit from the cost and energy savings provided by smart lighting.”

Features

  • Laser-based installation – Enlighted Eazy is the only lighting control solution for SMBs that supports Enlighted’s patented laser-based commissioning for faster installation time than with Bluetooth. Installers can commission a sensor by simply pointing a laser at it, removing the ambiguity of which light fixture is being commissioned and bypassing network issues. Set-up is completely wireless, requiring less troubleshooting and reducing installation complexity.
  • Intuitive app-based management –The Enlighted Eazy app is used for both installation and configurationof the lighting control system. Once the installation is complete, the end-user can fine-tune lighting preferences via the app. The system does not require a gateway, further delivering ease of use and lowering costs.
  • Energy cost reduction –Users can set lighting levels based on time of day and room occupancy. This includes daylight harvesting, where the sensors adjust to the brightness of the lighting based on the amount of natural daylight available in a space for up to 10% savings on energy costs. Occupancy sensing, where lights dim when the space is vacant, delivers 30-60% cost savings. Users can also enable task tuning, to set the ideal lighting based on tasks being performed in a space, for 20-40% savings.

“Our customers want lighting solutions that are easy to manage at an affordable price point. As the local representative of these systems, we don’t want to have installers spend days on-site for the installation, disrupting their businesses,” said Mitchell Bloomberg, principal at International Lights. “Enlighted Eazy solves both problems in a high-performance, flexible smart lighting system. We look forward to introducing more of our customers to Enlighted.”
