Cyclone Offers Natural Touch for Urban Spaces with Wood Finished Light Poles

Eureka wood finishes for light poles, bollards

Cyclone, part of Acuity Brands, has expanded its offering to include wood finishes for light poles, bollards and more. Providing more than a distinctive look, the wood grain paint finishes also deliver long-lasting durability. With rich, fade-resistant woodgrain paint finishes, these luminaires blend beautifully into parks, campuses, residential areas, and urban neighborhoods. The result? A space that feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed.

The technology used to decorate aluminum surfaces involves the chemical-physical process of sublimation. Aluminum poles are first powder coated and then decorated with a heat-transfer film printed with special inks. This process creates decorative finishes that replicate natural materials like woodgrain.

Poles with a woodgrain finish complement a wide range of Cyclone light fixtures. Wood paint finishes are available for steel and aluminum 4” and 5” straight round poles up to 23 ft, as well as bollards and light column pole bases.
