Focal Point Grows Seem Sweep 2 Line with Install‑Friendly Arcs and Straights

The expanded Focal Point Seem Sweep 2 options allow for even more configurations without increasing installation complexity.

Chicago-based Focal Point is broadening its curvilinear lighting portfolio with the launch of Seem Sweep 2 Arcs & Straights, giving contractors a more flexible, installation‑friendly toolkit for modern interiors. The new standalone luminaires build on the original Seem Sweep 2 Patterns but introduce a wider range of radii, angles, and linear lengths while maintaining the same 2.5‑inch aperture and unified aesthetic designers expect.

Rounded end caps are now standard across both curved and straight units, simplifying transitions and reducing the need for custom terminations in the field. That consistency helps crews maintain clean lines, especially in open‑ceiling environments where fixture edges are fully exposed.

The expanded radius and angle options also make it easier to match architectural curves without improvising on site. Arcs are available in multiple angles—from gentle sweeps to tight bends—allowing installers to follow design intent without wrestling with custom fabrication or complex suspension layouts. Straights, offered in one‑inch increments from two to eight feet, give crews the flexibility to build continuous runs or standalone segments with minimal waste.

The Seem Sweep 2 portfolio supports direct or bidirectional illumination, multiple control protocols, and lumen packages that meet typical office, education, and public‑space requirements. With efficacy up to 160 lm/W depending on configuration, the fixtures also help projects hit energy targets without sacrificing visual comfort.
