Coastal Source Unveils EVO Lighting Module To Enhance Outdoor Environments
The new EVO Lighting System from Coastal Source is a custom-designed, fully integrated module that improves outdoor experiences by providing high-performance lighting in a beautiful, elegant, and refined design.
Featuring a modular design, the EVO outdoor lighting system provides the lighting designer with infinite flexibility to design the perfect outdoor lighting scene for the homeowner. Numerous shrouds, hats, risers, and accessories enable hundreds of unique fixture designs to solve all problems that a lighting designer may face. EVO can be conveniently ordered as a pre-built assembly as a FLEX module, or the lighting designer can combine the numerous individual parts to make a custom fixture to meet their unique need. Reducing installation time and cost, EVO uses the patented Plug+Play™ Coastal Source cable system allowing the installer to twist connect and lock the cable to the speaker.
EVO is a patent pending custom designed fully integrated LED module based on a CREE LED. Coastal Source’s unique design fully seals all the electronics of the light into a compact, thermally efficient, and watertight package. Compared to a 6W MR16 fixture, the EVO 5W LED Module is 50% smaller, has higher output (up to 560lm), has a wider beam angle (up to 55 degrees), has two dispersion patterns (direct and 360+), has two color temperatures (2700K and 3000K), has less glare, and improved optics.
Ideal for landscape and architectural lighting applications, EVO can be mounted in softscapes, hardscapes, along paths, hanging, and in-trees. EVO’s high-power output and enhanced optics enables users to light large, distant canopies while its compact size allows you to hide the fixture when you only want to see the light effect. EVO’s discrete size and modularity enables users to custom design luxurious fixtures for light applications that want the fixture to be seen.
EVO is the most durable and sustainable lighting fixture on the market. The solid brass fixtures carry a lifetime warranty. The custom-designed fully integrated EVO LED module with Coastal Source Plug+Play™ connector is IP68-rated and carries our industry leading 5-year manufacturer’s warranty. The LED module uses the brass housing as a heat-sink to enable it to operate at the lowest temperature to ensure it continues to shine for a lifetime. When it is time to replace the LED, just unscrew it from the brass fixture and replace it. No need to replace the brass fixture – ever.
All EVO fixtures are available in Vintage Brass finish and numerous hardscape fixtures are available in Black, White, and Nickel to compliment the landscape scene perfectly. And EVO can be easily incorporated into a lighting system design that uses Coastal Source Niche or MR16 fixtures where necessary.
