Liteline ORBIT Multi Downlight Extends Options for Tight Ceilings

The newest addition to Liteline’s ORBIT product family – ORBIT Multi – delivers precise illumination in places where traditional recessed fixtures might not be practical. The 4-inch adjustable downlight is engineered to fit directly within a standard octagon junction box and preserves existing fire-rated ceiling assemblies.

Designed for multifamily, residential, renovation, and commercial applications, the fixture provides 360 degrees of rotation and 50 degrees of tilt, offering a broad range of aiming capability for accent, task, and feature lighting applications. The adjustable design allows light to be directed toward artwork, architectural details, work surfaces, and other focal points while also accommodating sloped ceiling installations.

Beyond installation flexibility, ORBIT Multi supports project continuity through compatibility with standard TRIAC and ELV dimming protocols, which extends the fixture’s versatility across a variety of lighting control platforms commonly used in residential and multifamily projects. Paired with 1% dimming capability and adjustable aiming, ORBIT Multi can support layered lighting schemes that balance ambient, task, and accent illumination within a single space.

ORBIT Multi incorporates a 9W LED light source producing up to 815 lumens with a typical CRI of 90. A selectable color temperature range from 2700K to 5000K enables the fixture to support a variety of lighting environments and design goals.

Additional installation and performance features include a built-in driver and quick-connect push-in terminals. ORBIT Multi is suitable for wet locations, rated for indoor and outdoor applications, and maintains a fire rating when installed in a steel octagon box.
