MaxLite AE Switch Delivers Remote CCT + Optic Control

MaxLite AE Switch Area Light

MaxLite’s AE Switch Remote Control Area Light streamlines exterior lighting projects with remote‑adjustable distributions, field‑selectable performance settings and a commissioning process that requires no bucket truck or on‑fixture programming. Its adaptable optical system and control‑ready architecture make it easy to fine tune light levels, coverage and energy performance as site requirements evolve without adding labor or complexity.

And now, it’s been recognized by EC&M as the Product of the Year in the Outdoor Area/Site Luminaires category,

The AE Switch platform stands out for its selectability and field flexibility. Beyond wattage and CCT choices, the fixture allows contractors to change optical distributions between types III, IV and V using a handheld remote from the ground. This capability makes it especially valuable for municipal, commercial and large‑lot applications where adjustments are common after occupancy.

Covering wattages from 75W to 300W in both 120–277V and 277–480V, the AE Switch series uses just two low‑EPA housings to span a wide range of pole heights and site conditions. Multiple mounting options and available visors support varied layouts, while robust surge protection and MaxLite’s established quality standards position the fixture well for long‑term exterior use.
