Kenall Launches High Abuse Family of Luminaires

Kenall Millenium Saturn luminaire

Unlock a universe of lighting possibilities with the Millenium Saturn™, the latest addition to Kenall’s high-abuse family of luminaires. Designed to withstand the most rigorous conditions and backed by its Peace of Mind Guarantee® against breakage, this fixture delivers a galaxy of features, indoors and out. With broad RGB, RGBW, and static color options, its possible applications are limited only by your imagination.

The 18” ‘switchable perimeter’ model is available with an optional motion sensor (MS) that switches from white light to the specified amber or red light when it senses the area is unoccupied. This intelligent feature allows the fixture to remain in amber or red light mode, preserving wildlife-friendly conditions, until occupancy is detected. Upon sensing movement, the light seamlessly transitions to white, providing necessary illumination for pedestrian activity. This dynamic switching ensures safety while preserving environmental responsibility, offering a balance between urban development environment in coastal areas and wildlife preservation.

The Millenium Saturn transcends traditional lighting, offering cities and public spaces a dynamic solution for both practical wayfinding and vibrant celebratory displays. Its robust design, engineered for high-abuse applications, ensures reliable performance in demanding environments, including airports, train stations, underpasses, and building exteriors.

Millenium Saturn™ goes beyond standard illumination, offering critical protection for wildlife using specialized light sources. Customizable to 590 nm native amber and 630 nm native red, Saturn minimizes disruption to sensitive wildlife migration patterns, particularly for turtles and birds.
