Trace-Lite by Barron Lighting Group has unveiled its innovative DDX Series and DDXS Series Low Profile Surface Mount LED Downlights . Designed to offer unmatched versatility and ease of installation, these new fixtures are ideal for lighting designers and architects seeking cutting-edge solutions for their projects.

The DDX/DDXS downlights bring together advanced functionality and sleek design to enhance any interior space. Offering powerful illumination, the DDX model delivers 830 lumens for the 4″ variant and 1,270 lumens for the 6″ option. Meanwhile, the DDXS model is equipped with a built-in motion sensor and provides 1,250 lumens, making it ideal for maximizing energy efficiency and convenience without compromising on brightness.

In addition, the downlights feature field-selectable color temperature, allowing users to choose between five different CCT options (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K) to perfectly align with the desired ambiance. This flexibility ensures that the lighting can be easily adapted to suit various settings and preferences.

Installation is made simple with the twist-lock diffuser mechanism and included hardware for mounting to a 4″ junction box. Additionally, the downlights can effortlessly retrofit existing 4″ to 6″ cans using optional torsion clips and an E26 medium screw-base Edison connector, making them a versatile choice for both new installations and upgrades.Trace-Lite’s dedication to quality is evident in the downlights’ stamped steel construction, white finish, and low profile, as little as 0.95″ thick, ensuring a sleek and unobtrusive appearance in any setting. The downlights also feature TRIAC & ELV dimming capabilities down to 10% and a wide 110° beam angle for optimal light distribution
