DMF Lighting is raising the bar on design versatility with the release of its Premium Trim collection for the Artafex 2” small aperture lighting system. Now available in Brass, Copper, and Graphite, the trims combine elegant, low-glare aesthetics with the trusted performance integrators rely on, giving integrators, designers and specifiers new flexibility to complement any high-end interior.
Today’s luxury homeowners expect cohesion in every detail, from fixtures and finishes to lighting hardware. DMF’s Premium Trims help integrators deliver on that expectation with metalized, precision-engineered finishes that are made using a Molecular Vapor Deposition (MVD) process. This method creates a durable, visually diffused surfacethat resists wear and reduces glare, while a clear topcoat preserves beauty over time.

It includes options for round and square modules, fixed and adjustable configurations, and supports new construction, remodel, and retrofit applications. All trims, including the new Premium finishes, are available in Micro Flange and Flangeless styles and are offered in standard, wall wash, pinhole, hyperbolic, and decorative formats. The system also supports a range of beam spreads, specialty lenses, and installation accessories, ensuring the right fit for every project.
DMF’s Premium Trims are available in dealer-friendly Showroom and Travel Demo Cases, which include a curated selection of trims and modules for easy presentation during consultations. All premium trims are made to order and carry a 12-week lead time.
The Artafex 2” system is fully compatible with DMF’s PhaseX digital lighting platform, enabling integrators to deliver beautiful, high-performance lighting solutions with tunable white, ultra-smooth dimming, and open-protocol control integration all over standard Romex wiring.
