Coronet’s STFU Tackles Sound, Light in One Fixture

coronet stfu acoustic lighting

Coronet’s STFU Acoustic Series brings lighting and acoustic treatment together in a way that feels intentional rather than additive. Instead of suspending luminaires and baffles as separate elements, these fixtures integrate PET felt panels directly with linear LED housings, creating a ceiling system that manages both illumination and reverberation in one move.

This approach is especially effective in open‑plan offices, classrooms, hospitality spaces and other environments where hard surfaces and high ceilings can amplify noise. By combining acoustic absorption with a continuous linear light source, Coronet’s system helps improve speech clarity and overall comfort without relying solely on wall treatments or additional ceiling hardware.

Because the acoustic element is modular, designers can scale absorption by adjusting fixture length, density or spacing patterns. The result is a ceiling layout that supports both performance and aesthetics without feeling cluttered.
