Advanced Lighting Controls from Leviton for Smarter, More Efficient Spaces

Leviton

Leviton (LEDucation 2025 booth 212) has expanded its offering of advanced lighting control solutions to include feature-rich systems that are easy to install and use. Designed for wired and wireless systems, the lighting control systems improve lighting performance, meet energy codes, and reduce building maintenance and operating costs.

GreenMAX DRC Wireless solutions enable a full suite of lighting control capabilities including programmable room behaviors, occupancy/vacancy sensing, daylight harvesting, scene control, and multi-location control for different types of lighting for virtually any application. Fully configurable using the GreenMAX DRC App on any WiFi-enabled Android or iOS smart device, GreenMAX DRC Wireless provides the flexibility to grow and change with the user’s evolving needs as a scalable solution. Users can add additional components at any time to modify or expand the system, and reconfigure rooms and zones from the convenience of their smart device.

Leviton’s Smart Ceiling Mount Sensors (CMS) simplify advanced lighting controls by integrating several control strategies into self-contained, cost-effective, and easy-to-install devices. By requiring just two devices instead of the industry’s standard four for code compliance requirements, the solution streamlines installation. Users have additional control with the ability to wirelessly control the sensors with the new Wireless Companion Switch and Wireless Companion Dimmer. The solution is fully configurable with the Smart Sensor App, allowing users to tailor lighting control strategies to meet the intent of any space. Along with occupancy/vacancy sensing, dimming, and daylight harvesting, CMS solutions can be wirelessly networked to expand the field-of-view for spaces up to 10,000 square feet and control up to ten zones independently. Users can add manual control and multi-way control with Wireless Companion Dimmers, Wireless Companion Switches, or PLVSW Low Voltage Keypads. CMS is also UL924 listed for emergency lighting.

The Pulse of Lighting – Slow Q4. Rays of Hope for 2026?

As the calendar turned, many in the lighting industry said “good riddance” to 2025. It was a rocky road given the impact of tariffs on the project market and product pricing. At the end of the day for most it was a “meh” year from a revenue viewpoint with tariff “inspired” pricing perhaps enabling for… Read More…
