Acclaim’s Aqua Series Brings Precision Optics Underwater
As water features become increasingly integrated into hospitality, entertainment, residential, and public-space design, demand is growing for lighting systems that deliver the same level of performance below the waterline as they do above it. Acclaim Lighting’s Aqua Series delivers fully submersible architectural luminaires that combine precision optics, advanced color control, and marine-grade durability within a single platform.
The Aqua Series includes the Aqua Drum E3, Aqua Drum S3, and Aqua Linear fixtures, giving designers access to spot, flood, wall wash, and linear illumination options within a coordinated ecosystem. The platform is designed to maintain consistent aesthetics and performance across pools, spas, fountains, and architectural water features. A broad accessory offering, including snoots, louvers, glare shields, in-wall pool kits, in-ground sleeve kits, and signal converters, further extends configuration flexibility.
At the core of the platform is Acclaim Lighting’s Quad RGBL Spectrum four-channel color engine, which combines saturated colors with dedicated white-light control spanning 1800K to 6000K. This allows a single fixture to transition from warm architectural illumination to dynamic color-changing scenes for hospitality, entertainment, and special-event environments. Static white, dynamic white, and QRGBA configurations are also available, providing multiple approaches to color and white-light control.
The Aqua Series also introduces a native 3° x 3° ultra-narrow optic in both the Aqua Drum E3 and Aqua Drum S3. Designed for long underwater throws, tall fountain jets, and pinpoint architectural accents, the optic delivers a level of beam precision rarely found in submersible floodlighting. Combined with additional beam distribution options and outputs reaching up to 9,500 lumens, the platform supports both dramatic visual effects and high-performance functional lighting.
Supporting the ecosystem is the Aqua Driver 4, which incorporates AquaSense technology. Upon startup, the system automatically detects connected fixtures and self-configures without requiring manual setup, helping streamline commissioning while reducing complexity across mixed-fixture installations.
Constructed from 316L marine-grade stainless steel and rated IP68 for submersion up to 20 feet, the Aqua Series is engineered for use in freshwater, chlorinated, brominated, and saltwater environments. The same corrosion-resistant construction also supports long-term performance in coastal and oceanfront applications above the waterline.
