Jesco Lighting Group Expands Spec-Grade Recessed Downlight Series

Jesco Lighting Group P22

Jesco Lighting Group has expanded its spec-grade, high-performance P22 series LED downlights designed for high-end residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial applications. With advancements in LED technology, P22 downlights deliver higher light output with lower wattage, while maintaining exceptional color accuracy exceeding 90 CRI. Two-step MacAdam ellipse single-bin LED’s ensure consistent, high-quality white light.

Now available in four aperture sizes including 1.5 inch, 2.5 inch, 3.5 inch, and 4.5 inch, the modular P22 system supports new construction and remodel applications with multiple configurations to meet project specifications. The system is JA eight title 24 compliant.

  • New 1.5 inch ultra slim design – ideal for modern interiors requiring discreet, high performance lighting. Precision optics provide crisp, focused illumination in a compact form.
  • 2.5 inch aperture with millwork option – integrates seamlessly into ceiling designs for a sleek, unobtrusive aesthetic. Now available as a quick-ship item in new construction featuring 3000K 90 CRI, 55° optic, and a round fixed down light with black and white trim options.
  • 3.5 inch aperture shallow for low plenums with dim-to-warm option – mimics the warm dimming curve of incandescent lamps transitioning from 3000K at full brightness to a cozy 1800K with smooth flicker free dimming.
  • 4.5 inch high output solution – designed for larger spaces and higher ceilings, delivering powerful illumination while maintaining optimal beam control and glare reduction. Ideal for commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential projects requiring more light coverage.

The downlight features a deep baffle design with a 30° cutoff and a specialized TIRR lens to minimize glare ensuring visual comfort and uniform high quality white light. The adjustable baffles come in multiple styles – adjustable downlight, adjustable gimbal, adjustable snoot, adjustable pinhole and wall wash baffle – each equipped with an Aim indicator marked every 10° from 0° to 30° for precise targeting. A hex nut securely locks the aim, while an additional light shield prevents light leaks.

The wall wash delivers even, shadow-free illumination across vertical surfaces. The vortex baffle, designed with advanced optics, provides uniform comfortable lighting without harsh shadows and offers optional decorative trims in various finishes. The millwork option integrates seamlessly into the ceiling for a sleek, unobtrusive lighting solution.

To customize beam control and diffusion, select from 5 lens options: clear lens, prismatic lens to soften hot spots, softening lens for even diffusion, linear lens for beam elongation, and hexcel lens for glare reduction.

The P22 series features die-cast round and square trims with finish options including matte black, matte white, matte silver and custom RA powder coat finishes with a trimless option for ultra modern spaces. The 3.5 inch vortex baffle technology delivers uniform illumination without harsh shadows and is available in trim and trimless versions with an optional decorative trim ring in black, white, brass, copper and satin nickel.
