Coronet Expands Popular STFU Acoustic Series

Coronet STFU Acoustic Series

Coronet is amping up its popular STFU Acoustic series with STFU Contours—a new collection of shapely luminaires that absorb sound while making a bold design statement. The new STFU Contours collection brings curves, rich color, and high-performance lighting to modern, open-plan spaces — from collaborative workspaces to hotel lobbies.

The collection includes seven new curvaceous fixtures wrapped in PET felt for acoustic performance, including:

  • LS1 Curve STFU and LS2 Curve STFU – custom curved, linear fixtures with 1.9″ and 2.5″ apertures
  • Ring STFU – a round, halo-style luminaire
  • Loop STFU – an internally lit, open ring providing uplight and downlight
  • PRD STFU – an illuminated disc with a concave lens
  • Lucie Curve STFU – a backlit pendant with projection fabric
  • NL Round STFU – a non-illuminated round acoustic pendant

The STFU Acoustic series balances playful aesthetics with practical performance. STFU Contours continue that legacy with rounded forms that snake and loop overhead. The luminaires are available in 20 standard PET felt colors—from subtle neutrals to vibrant tones—with custom color options for larger projects.

Each luminaire in the collection delivers high efficacy with LED technology, offering up to 135 lumens per watt and a CRI above 90. The Declare-listed acoustic PET felt is made from 90% post-consumer recycled content and has an NRC rating of 0.75.

Several models — including LS1 Curve STFU and LS2 Curve STFU — fall under Coronet’s existing Declare labels and are available with Red List Free construction. Declare labels are pending for Ring STFU, Loop STFU, PRD STFU, Lucie Curve STFU, and NL Round STFU.
